Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum 

On the original site of the Columbia Junction Freight Yard, the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum can be found just off Bridge Street in downtown Willimantic, Connecticut. In addition to the vintage railroad buildings and a reconstructed six-stall roundhouse built on the original foundation, their collection also includes rolling stock and locomotives. Children of all ages can operate a replica 1850s-style pump car along a section of rail that was once part of the New Haven Railroad’s “Air Line.” Visitors can receive a guided museum tour, so your trip will become educational. You won’t worry about the parking lot when you visit because they have ample space. Treat your kids to learning fun; I’m sure they’ll love it. 

Leading food chain now opens in Connecticut.

It’s nice that a well-known food chain opened its sixth store in Connecticut. According to an event post on the company’s Facebook page, Crumbl Cookies, a leading gourmet treat chain, celebrated the grand opening of its sixth Connecticut store in West Hartford on March 24, 2023.
